David Cope, of Cape Town’s Publik Wine Bar, and Simon Wibberley, partnered up to create Alphabetical. Their mission is a simple one: demystify the ever-confusing wine landscape by crafting simple yet complex wines for pure enjoyment. Alphabetical starts with pristine grapes grown in the harsh but beautiful wine lands of the Western Cape. Rather than being limited by specific varietal or region, Alphabetical seeks out the best quality fruit available vintage to vintage. Each wine feels infinitely drinkable and effortlessly balanced, due to the varying terriors and climatic regions represented. Alphabetical captures the essence of the Western Cape, where the winemakers surf and the surfers make wine. This lighthearted approach is what makes these wines so damn appealing and keeps us coming back for more. Like a long walk on the beach, or taking in the view atop Table Mountain, these wines are for the simple, beautiful moments life throws your way.   All Alphabetical wines are hand harvested, naturally fermented, and bottled with limited sulphur.
