40% whole bunch clusters were placed in an open fermenter and 60% was destemmed on top. Natural fermentation lasted for 3 weeks and grapes were pressed after fermentation. The skins were basket pressed to 400L & 300L barrels.
Tasting Notes
Franc was made to express the floral scent, crunchy fruit and fine texture that Cabernet Franc has to offer from a cooler South African appellation. Drink slightly chilled in 2-5 years from vintage.
