Reigning Sun

Reigning Sun seeks to capture the brightness, vibrancy, and beauty of the African sun, liquid sun in a bottle.  In this corner of the world, the sun influences everything: the dramatic landscapes, the ever-present smiles, and, of course, the wines. It is long overdue that we pay homage to that which reigns across this land and makes all things possible.   Winemaker Tremayne Smith meticulously sources fruit from a number of exceptional vineyards in Paarl, Wellington, and Slanghoek.  In an effort to reflect the energy of this landscape, all fermentations are carried out with native yeasts and great attention is paid to maintaining bright aromatics and fresh, crunchy fruit. 

Respecting that which basks beneath our reigning sun, all bottles are made of recycled glass and both wines are available in recyclable kegs.
