Domaine de Terres de Velle

The Domaine des Terres de Velle is one of the rare new domains in Burgundy, founded in Auxey-Duresses in 2009. Starting from scratch is a worthy challenge in Burgundy, where one generally becomes a wine maker only by family inheritance. This old 19th century mill, sitting in this charming valley west of Meursault, offered numerous assets, in particular its setting in the heart of 15 acres of vineyards – all in the Côte de Beaune.
